Wound Management has an internal billing department. We are experts at billing Medicare and commercial insurance on behalf of the patient. However, as required by law, the patient may be responsible for coinsurance and deductible amounts.
Wound Management accepts Medicare, and many commercial insurance plans. Once we receive an order, we can verify specific coverage and contact the patient with any questions or concerns. In the event that the patient doesn't have adequate coverage, we have alternatives to help the patient get needed supplies.
Wound Management bills Medicare and other commercial insurance for your patient's supplies. Your can continue purchasing Part A supplies from your distributor, and Wound Management can provide to your Part B patients.
